Apple Fritters
Sift 1/2 lb flour into a large bowl. Add beer a little at a time. Batter should be very
thick like paste, beat well until all lumps are gone. Peel & core 3 apples, slice into
rounds. Cover apple slices with batter/paste making sure the apples are completely coated.
Drop apple slices into pan of boiling fat, cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from pan, drain and sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve with honey.
