Beer Battered Fish
227 gram Plain flour (8 oz)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs beaten
150 ml Beer(6 oz)
100ml Milk (4 oz)
681 grams Cod or Haddock (1 1/2 lbs)
Mix flour, baking powder & salt. Stir in milk then beer, add beaten eggs. Beat for 3 minutes. Coat the fish well in the batter. Drop battered fish into hot oil 180C (350F) degrees cook until golden. Drain & serve.
