Fried Cheddar Cheese Balls
8 oz (250gram) Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons flour
2 eggs lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 green chili chopped
Mix grated cheese, eggs, baking powder, salt, flour and chili together in a bowl.
If the mixture is too sticky add a little flour. Take about 1 teaspoonful of
the mixture at a time, form into a ball. Roll cheese balls in breadcrumbs.
Add cheese balls to very hot oil and cook for 3 minutes approx., or until golden.
Drain on paper towel.
Serve hot with Branston pickles or Chutney.
