Italian Doughnuts

225 gram (8 0z) Plain Flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg (beaten)
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons milk
225 gram (8 0z) Ricotta Cheese

In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder and sugar. Add beaten egg and milk. Stir in Ricotta cheese. Drop into hot oil from a teaspoon. Fry until golden, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and sprinkle with icing sugar.
